Eva is passionate about prevention and improving health outcomes, and has seen first-hand the disastrous effects of cervical cancer on young women. She is committed to fighting scientific misinformation and ensuring the eradication of preventable HPV-related cancers in Canada. As a member of HPV Awareness, she is contributing to ensuring better health outcomes for all Canadians by reducing the negative impact of the human papillomavirus on its population. Eva is the Executive Director of the Coalition Priorité Cancer, and has been involved in cancer patient advocacy and non-profits since 2008. She worked at a palliative home-care organization for over 11 years as a Development Director and occupied various roles including Vice-President for the Québec Cancer Coalition, as well as serving as President for the ROCO, an oncology community groups organization. She’s also actively involved as a Board member for the Artificial Intelligence Impact Alliance (AIIA) and the organizing committee of the Annual AI on a Social Mission conference. She graduated from McGill University in 2004 with a double major in Psychology and Applied Linguistics, then completed an MBA from HEC Montréal in 2012 with the objective to apply best business practices to the non-profit sector. Eva is passionate about Value Based Health Care (VBHC), good governance, philanthropy, community impact, and social innovation. She is fluent in French, English, and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of Italian.
